Little by little ID@Xbox programme is offering succulent advantages to independent developers that see in Microsoft a good way to publish its games and to make the most of them getting more public. This is the case of Rise & Shine, by the Spanish Super Mega Team, which has been fairly well valued and has gained a small gap in the international sector.
During ID@Xbox event celebration that took place yesterday by Microsoft Spain, we could talk with several developer teams. Among those personalities we can name Enrique Corts and Mar Hernández members of Super Mega Team with we were talking about projects, business and some interesting figures.
As the title of the news reads, they assured that Rise & Shine has been solder in Xbox One than in Steam, where it is also available.
We were talking with Enrique about the Steam user profile, these users do not have the tendency towards buying released games. However, most of them have this game in their wish list, possibly expecting a substantial price reduction. All this without mentioning piracy, which continues being a reality in the PC world, particularly with games that do not have enormous investments, as this game.
Fortunately, we gain more information from Super Mega Team. Rise & Shine is not the unique game. They announced Annihellation, a game starring a witch and that will have a much darker tone. It is a 2D RPG that includes some differentiating elements. It is too early to give more information due to it is starting to be developed.
