Microsoft siempre sigue trabajando para ofrecer más a sus usuarios. Uno de los cambios se produjo en 2018 con el cambio de estrategia total para incluir al PC en su ecosistema, lo que llevó a la creación del programa Xbox Play Anywhere, una funcionalidad adherida a ciertos títulos en los que destacaba su principal virtud: Que comprando una copia para Xbox, también la obtenías para PC y viceversa, mientras fuera dentro de la Microsoft Store.

Compra una vez, juega en cualquier lugar

Sin embargo, no es esta la única función. Los juegos con Xbox Play Anywhere también suelen compartir la progresión entre plataformas, en lo que se llama Cross-Save o Cross-Progression, permitiendo retomar la partida cuando quieras y como quieras, ya sea en tu Xbox One, Xbox Series o PC. Esto también incluye los logros, complementos y por supuesto, partidas guardadas. Aparecerá en nuestra biblioteca disponible para instalar. En la propia Microsoft Store, lo encontrarás con la etiqueta “Xbox Play Anywhere”.

¿Qué ventajas incluyen los juegos Play Anywhere?

Cualquier juego que adquiramos con la etiqueta “Xbox Play Anywhere” tendrá las siguientes ventajas:

Compraremos una licencia para jugarlo en Xbox y en PC

¿Funciona el Xbox Play Anywhere con los juegos físicos?

No. Las ventajas Xbox Play Anywhere solo funcionan si compramos el juego en formato digital.

No. El Xbox Play Anywhere te aporta una licencia para la descarga del juego en consolas Xbox o en la Microsoft Store.
